Cherry Liqueur II:
3 cups Cherries
1 fifth Brandy
1/4 cup Sugar Syrup

Cut up the cherries and remove the pits. Take about one-half of the pits and wrap them in cheesecloth; smash with a hammer. Put the cut-up cherries and the crushed seeds into a large jar, add the brandy and close tightly. Let steep for about 3 weeks.

Strain off the liquid with a wire strainer and extract any additional fluid from the cherries by wringing them wrapped in cloth. Add the sugar syrup, shake and filter through cheesecloth.

Caution must be taken as to the quantity drank, when making alcohol with fruit stones. Generally, 1 shot is enough per person.
